Tassos has been serving the community of San Jose, CA since 1974. The flagship and original Tasso’s Garden Restaurant was located just a mile from Tasso’s Restaurant & Bar. Just as Tasso’s Garden restaurant made a mark in San Jose, CA as the dining destination, fulfilling the food enthusiasts with flavorful, delicious American Greek & Italian cuisine, Tasso, and with the help of his wife, Maria, and son, Kostas, have made it an essential component to continuing the legacy and culinary tradition. With our flavorful approach we think local and afar with our newcomers and loyalists, who are not just simply our customers, but our friends, enjoying and sharing this experience with us.
From the rise-and-shine breakfast favorite cravings, working lunches, formal dinners, casual date night to family and friends’ gatherings and celebrations, we choose fresh and flavorful ingredients, and craft it from scratch. For the variety of food moods, our menu caters to our ever-shifting food cravings. The menu features an eclectic variety of American, Greek and Italian cuisine, with diverse, flavorful twist from our culinary journeys, influences and interpretations. Tasso’s Restaurant & Bar compelling design spearheaded by Kostas combines the simplicity of its modern décor, giving the dining experience a sense of dining in Greece. Every section of the restaurant has been designed thoughtfully and uniquely for a diverse, visual experience with every visit, day or night.
The attractive and illuminous bar and lounge area was designed for the mix-n- mingle, from the individual who simply wants to enjoy a cocktail, enjoy flavorful bits from our bar menu, or enjoying the best of both, meeting up with a date, friends or family and enjoying the social cocktail-tainment, or watching the game with our large screen TVs from the bar and throughout our dining area.
On top of that, Tasso’s Restaurant & Bar offers covered patio dining, and a fire pit table accommodating up to 16 that is sure to be a table to reserve large party dining.
